Heritage Festival Committee members, Butch Blanks (left) and Bobby Conner (right) invite the community to the Halifax County Heritage and Antique Machinery Festival May 4^th and 5^th at the Halifax County Fairgrounds.  This year marks the 15^th Annual Heritage Festival.  The Heritage Festival Committee is grateful to the community for the over-whelming support year after year and is proud to be able to give back to the community.  Over the years, more than $30,000 in proceeds has been donated in scholarships to Halifax County High School students pursuing careers in agriculture and associated fields.  The committee has also provided financial assistance to the motorsports and agricultural programs within the school system and is a major contributor to the Halifax County Public Schools Educational Foundation.  Additional proceeds have also been donated to Halifax County to help with improvements at the Halifax County Fairgrounds.  The Heritage Festival Committee is also proud that each year the business sector of Halifax County benefits from the economic impact provided by thousands of festival attendees who shop, dine and lodge in Halifax County the first weekend in May.
