Schools Education Foundation (HCPSEF) is pleased to announce a partnership with the Heritage & Antique Machinery Festival. The Heritage Festival is donating $5,000 to the Foundation for student scholarships and to support the Motorsports program. This spring, the HCPSEF Heritage Festival Agriculture Scholarship and the HCPSEF Heritage Festival Motorsports Scholarship will be funded through this partnership. The funds will also be used to purchase equipment for the motorsports program at the high school and middle school. Bobby Conner said, “The Heritage Festival group is interested in all things mechanical. We want to build student interest in developing mechanical and life skills.” The Motorsports program is instrumental in equipping our students for careers and helping provide incentives to keep students in school. This is another great example of how partnering with the Foundation can enhance educational opportunities for students in Halifax County. Logan Young said, “The public schools foundation is pleased to partner with the Heritage Festival Group in supporting mechanical and life skills development among agriculture and motorsports students. We thank them for the generous $5,000 gift and its benefit to both students and programs.”
