Southside Virginia Horse Council Ride for Hope

The Southside Virginia Horse Council is hosting its 2nd Annual “Ride for Hope” trail ride and wagon train. The ride is set for Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m. beginning at 1168 Cluster Springs Road, South Boston, next to A & E Race Shop. All riders are encouraged to get sponsors or pay $20 per rider; $10 per non-rider. All proceeds will benefit the Halifax County Cancer Association. The fee includes the ride and dinner. The ride will pass through beautiful hardwood trails owned by Shangrila Guest Ranch.
A group of riders plan to ride into the Halifax County Heritage and Antique Machinery Festival Friday afternoon, May 6 to present the funds raised from “Ride for Hope” to the Halifax County Cancer Association.
